Child Care Programs

Child Care Programs

These programs are offered at both our Lorain and Elyria locations:

School-age (Kindergarten to 12 years)

Before & after school educational & recreational activities focus on helping young students perform better in school through acceptable social behavior, improved grades & achievement on Ohio Graduation Tests; homework assistance, tutoring in reading & math tutoring, experience with arts, sports & cultural activities.

Pre-school (36 months to Kindergarten)

Prepares the child for school through a structured curriculum that is designed to give them a head start as they prepare for kindergarten; activities to promote thinking, social, emotional, physical & creative development are included; the Galileo assessment tool guides their progress.

Toddlers (18 to 35 months old)

Care-giving with support, consistency & stability; relationships are emphasized & active exploration encouraged; education is implemented through developmental & age appropriate activities, such as use of imagination & reality-based experiences.

Infant (6 weeks to 17 months)

Our newly renovated infant care rooms provide warm, secure & comforting setting, so your baby feels safe & happy. Our loving teachers know that these early months are critical to develop the connections your baby will need for later learning. Crucial elements of infant care include lots of hugging, cuddling, singing & talking to help your baby know that he or she matters.
