Family Support Services

We help strengthen families through in-home parenting education and support, program referral and developmental screenings for infants to toddlers through Help Me Grow.
Help Me Grow (HMG) is a program for Ohio’s expectant parents, newborns, infants and toddlers that provides health and developmental services so children meet their milestones. We work with more than 200 children at any given time to address any concerns, provide assessments and identify anything medically or developmentally that might prevent them from being successful when they go to school.
The program is voluntary and free and designed to provide additional support to pregnant women and families raising children birth to three years old. It involves: home visits and support for the family; assessment for health child development; information and assistance to meet medical and emergency needs; information and referral to community resources; activities to enhance parenting skills and provide parental support; and assistance in accessing community resources.
